The Islamic Development Bank (IsDB) is recruiting an Associate Manager for Safety and Security within the President Complex. The role is based at the Bank’s Headquarters in Jeddah, with responsibility for safety and security operations across IsDB facilities worldwide, including headquarters, staff accommodation, regional hubs, and new sites as they are established.
IsDB is a multilateral development bank owned by 57 member countries across Africa, Asia, the Middle East, and Latin America. Its mission is to promote economic and social progress through inclusive, sustainable development guided by the principles of Islamic finance. From its headquarters in Jeddah, the Bank manages a network of regional hubs in Türkiye, Malaysia, Senegal, Morocco, Nigeria, and Bangladesh, along with partnerships across more than 50 operational environments.
This global presence shapes a complex safety and security landscape. The Associate Manager ensures a consistent standard of protection for people, premises, and operations across diverse contexts. The role includes developing policies, coordinating compliance, leading emergency preparedness and crisis management, and strengthening the organisation’s overall resilience. Collaboration with governments, security agencies, and international partners is essential to safeguard staff and ensure business continuity.
Applicants should hold a master’s degree in Security Management, Occupational Health and Safety, or a related field. Certification in safety or security is desirable. A minimum of ten years’ experience in large multinational organisations is required, including at least three years in a managerial capacity. Proficiency in English and Arabic is mandatory; French is preferred.
